A Message from Our CEO

Dear Visitor,

Leading Dennelisse LHCSA is both a privilege and a personal calling. Our agency
was founded in 1987 by my father, Luis Pons, whose lifelong commitment to justice,
dignity, and care continues to guide our work today.

From his human rights activism in Cuba to his service to underserved communities in
New York City, my father believed every person deserved to be seen, respected, and
supported. I grew up witnessing the commitment and the compassion behind it.

Today, I carry his vision forward with deep respect and purpose. Dennelisse LHCSA
proudly serves communities across all five boroughs and the Lower Hudson Valley,
providing home care, Care Management, education, and pathways to employment for
individuals and families working toward stable, healthy lives.

Our state-approved HHA and PCA training school is an important part of that
mission. Through bilingual instruction and hands-on guidance, we help students enter
the healthcare field with confidence, skill, and pride.

As our work continues to grow, our values remain the same: meet people where they
are, listen with care, and treat every client, caregiver, student, and employee with
respect and compassion.

This is the legacy my father began, and it is an honor to continue it.

Warm regards,
Lucia Pons
